How to Support Ruff Start STX in your Future Plans

Help secure a future for the dogs of St. Croix by including Ruff Start STX in your long-term financial planning. Legacy gifts ensure we can continue to rescue, rehabilitate, and support our community for years to come.

Pet Care Trusts: If you establish a trust for your companion animals, you can name Ruff Start STX as the beneficiary for any funds remaining after their lifetime.

Retirement Accounts: You can designate Ruff Start STX as a beneficiary for your IRA, 401(k), or other retirement plans. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we can receive these funds tax-free, maximizing the impact of your gift. This is often as simple as updating a beneficiary form with your provider.

Life Insurance Policies: Consider naming us as a beneficiary of your life insurance. This process is straightforward and typically does not require updating your will.

Real Estate and Assets: Property can be designated to our organization through a transfer-on-death deed. If you're interested in donating stocks or other physical assets, please reach out to discuss how we can best utilize your gift.
